Annette and Paul have now settled in the USA after moving out there in 1997.  They met a long time ago when we were on a family camping holiday in France.  Although they drifted apart for a few years, they did keep in touch, romance blossomed and they were married in 1996.
Paul, who originates from Macclesfield, works for the private jet manufacturer, Gulfstream, in Long Beach, California.  He is a highly skilled cabinet maker, a skill he now uses for fitting the insides of private jets.  Annette is now a nursing manager, working at the UCLA teaching hospital in Los Angeles.
They live in Culver City, not too far from Hollywood just now.  Janet and myself went to visit them in late 1998, we hope to be seeing them both again in September of 2000.  We are planning on meeting up with them in
Florida.
Even though they are on the other side of the Atlantic, we speak to them every week using a web cam and Net meeting.  It really is a fantastic way to keep in touch
